Min of meeting

Kidalive teachers meeting on 12/1/2007


Presents: QC, Sally, Esther, Pauline, Jocelyn


1)QC commented that the main intent of the meeting is to betterintegrate the Youth who will be taking on more roles and responsibilities


2. The major difference will be the split up of lessons for Lower and Upper classes, The Upper Primary will continue to have the session inthe main hall and the lower primary will have it in the nursery room or prayer room.


3. Youths will be attached to help out and Lead in both classes.


4. On the Roster, the person to teach will be the first person listed.In the event that youths are to teach, the adult will help out and provide feedback to the youth on areas to improve upon.


5. For the last meeting of each quarter, there will be no lesson and we can plan for special event. Pauline has agree to plan for the up comingone in March


6. The worship session can be planned for 30-45min. For the 'All-Youth'session, they can pull in other youths to help with Live Music. Teachers can continue to use the current 'CD' method if they chose to. In the event that Teachers wants youth to be provide Live Music, pleaseco-ordinate with the Asst Worship leader for the week


7. The Youth brought up the subject to rename KidAlive to Memphyss Jr.QC noted that since this is a transition year to a more firm stage, we will hold on to the decision till things are more stabilize as we havework out the detail for this year. Likely to be next year.


8. We will not be organizing a Children Camp this year but we can lookinto joining Salem Chapel (In June?) if there is any interest


9. CNY Fellowship. Right now, there is no intention to have the Children ministry participate and present an item as there is not enoughchildren to do a proper performance. However, if required, we can do a film show if requested by the CNY committee.


10. The gift exchange will be open one last time. Children are encourage to use up as much as possible. We will note how much is leftand have a 'special' on the left over points.\n


11. If projector is required for the Worship or Teaching session, Pleasecontact QC or Sally one week in advance as booking of it is required.


12. For games session, as there are only a few children right now,\ngames leader can also plan for board games and games that does notrequired physical activities.


13. Pauline brought up the subject of doing special evangelistic meeting where children can bring friends and relatives, the teachers are open to\nit


14. We will be revising the current 'mailing list' to focus only onthose children currently living around our targeted area. Feedback is that children will likely join the ministry if there are 'tuition'\nrelated activities as polled from parents. However, due to the currentresource constrain, we will not be able to embarked on it yet. We will KIV on this for expansion plan.
