Teaching Children (7-12years)

Module 1: The vision-Evangelism of Children

• Aim-The scriptural basis for child evangelism--why get involved in teaching children,the biblical basis of working with children.

Module 2: The Gospel and Follow-up

• Basic principles to be covered in the presentation of the gospel and ideas on presenting it to different age groups.
• How to do follow-up with children who have received Jesus.

Module 3: Discipleship of Children-Basic

• Instruction on how to see young Christians grow into spiritual maturity.Includes teaching on prayer and the Word of God.

Module 4: Discipleship of children-Intermediate

• Instruction of how to see young Christians develop into maturity focusing on the whole area of love.Aspect covered:-
• a)Loving God-on obedience,consecration
• b)Loving ome another-overcoming rejection,building right relatioships,love of things and other aspects of love.

Module 5: Discipleship of children-Advanced

• Instructions of how to see children develop further into spiritual maturity.Aspect covered:
• a)Walking in the power of the Holy spirit
• b)Walking in victory over satan covering the occult which the children are exposed to through movies,television and the internet.
• Walking in the purposes of God--the training of children in missions and evangelism.

Module 6:Teacher's role and class management

• The preparation of the teacher.
• How to pray for and on behalf of children and spiritual strongholds in their lives.
• How to control and manage a class.

Module 7: Life changing Teaching

• How to make the lesson relevant and interesting to today's children and how to challenge to respond to the message.
